Persistence, judge of character and motivation.
How do you generate new ideas?
Engaging and listening to a wide spectrum of opinions and views.
Name one business failure and what have you learned from it?
I thought cell phones would not catch on with the general public, I owned 2,700 pay phones. Keep up with technology or it will run you over.
What is your greatest business fear, and how do you manage it?
Government regulation and mandates. I read a lot and stay engaged with Industry associations.
How do you define success?
It all boils down to passion, people, purpose and profit.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Hard one. There are 3 phases to success in a business, start up, proof of concept and exit strategy.
What is one thing that no one knows about you?
I started the FIJI fraternity at UTSA.
