Persistence, judge of character and motivation.

How do you generate new ideas?
Engaging and listening to a wide spectrum of opinions and views.

Name one business failure and what have you learned from it?
I thought cell phones would not catch on with the general public, I owned 2,700 pay phones. Keep up with technology or it will run you over.

Government regulation and mandates. I read a lot and stay engaged with Industry associations.

How do you define success?
It all boils down to passion, people, purpose and profit.

Hard one. There are 3 phases to success in a business, start up, proof of concept and exit strategy.

What is one thing that no one knows about you?
I started the FIJI fraternity at UTSA.

Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

What is your favorite EO memory?
Nando at Austin round-up.

In one word, characterize your life as an entrepreneur.
