What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Integrity. Innovation. Faith.

How do you generate new ideas?
Collaboratively with subject matter experts.

Name one business failure and what have you learned from it?
I had some money walk out the door. I learned to put the right checks and balances in place.

What is your greatest business fear, and how do you manage it?
A dissatisfied client. I manage it with an empowered team and well-managed replicateable processes.

How do you define success?
Being surrounded by happy people. Loving family. Great employees. Fanatical clients.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Our recent merger. It was a game changer personally and professionally.

What is one thing that no one knows about you?
I can hit my putter off the fairway 150 yards.

Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?
Zappos – they get it. They’re nothing without their people.

What is your favorite EO memory?
Bonding time around the campfire at retreats.

In one word, characterize your life as an entrepreneur.
